Our Competency Management Solution “CompetencySet” is based on five integrated phases: Competency Development Frameworks, Assessment and Verification, Individual Development Planning, Learning and Development, and Performance Management.

EcoMan’s Competency Management System, is a comprehensive online management, assessment and reporting solution.

A solution that serves for full lifecycle of Competency Assurance (CA) and Competency Development (CD) processes from:

• Conducting Assessment and Verification providing supporting evidence and OJT Real-work Task Assessment,

• Identifying competency development areas (Gap Analysis) and SMART detailed tasks,

Competency Assessment :

After a considerable number of competency assurance management projects, and understanding the diverse nature of employees, according to their educational background, behaviors, expertise and job nature and grades, we have developed Two (2) different Competency Assessments Methods, to cover all job types and levels:

• University Graduates/Fresh O&T Graduates.

• Front-line Operations & Maintenance Technicians, Operators and Technicians (O&Ts), Senior O&Ts, and Supervisors

(1) University Graduates/Fresh O&T Graduates:

EcoMan University Graduate Development Framework (DFW) defines the competency standards required for the post holder to perform his/her job effectively and safely. Three (3) main Assessment Chapters “Core Competencies, Supporting Competencies, General and Behavioral Competencies” based on four proficiency levels of each competency unit /chapter:

University Graduate Assessment

Assessment of this layer focuses on evaluating the evidence prepared by the candidates as real tasks of their routine work. CompetencySet provides online assessment levels:

• Self-Assessment

• Assessor Assessment

• Verifiers Assessment

• Line Manager Assessment / Input Performance Relevant To Specific Assessment

(2) Front-Line Operations and Maintenance Technicians

Front-line Operations and Maintenance Technicians, O&T’s (Operators/Technicians), Senior Operators/Technicians, and Supervisors competency development frameworks (DFWs) are specifically designed to suit the front-line nature of work. Assessment of this layer, O&M frontline personnel, focuses on observing candidates carrying-out their routine activities. In addition to, the assessment of their Knowledge about the available equipment on site, Skills on using equipment, HSE Knowledge & Procedures Applications and Utilization, plus Soft Skills.

E-Learning

In order to serve our various clients’s training needs; EcoMan has partnered with multiple international eLearning vendors and managed to match-up competency elements, of the competency development frameworks, to eLearning courses.
