Introduction
The IRCA Registered EMS auditor conversion course provides students with the knowledge and skills required to assess the conformance of an organization's Environmental Systems with ISO 14001 be it at an internal level, supplier assessment, or independent 3rd Party level. Any Environmental Management System requires an effective audit by a competent Environmental Management Systems auditor, which requires a comprehensive understanding of environmental aspects and impacts and improvement processes.
The course is aimed primarily at people who have audit experience, have preferably completed a lead audit course, and now wish to add the ability to audit Environmental Management Systems to their overall audit capability. Upon successful completion, delegates receive an IRCA Certified Certificate stating they have “Successfully Completed the ISO 14001:2004 EMS Auditor Conversion Programme (IRCA/2007).

This IRCA Registered Environmental ISO 14001 Auditor Conversion Course is based on proven “accelerated learning” techniques, ensuring that the student is fully immersed in the subject from the start. “Accelerated Learning” uses all of the student’s senses to ensure that knowledge and understanding are captured and developed quickly and effectively. The course uses practical exercises, role-plays, trainer model scenarios, and model guide answers to stimulate the trainee throughout the learning experience.
The course includes ongoing evaluation and feedback on trainee development and also includes an examination designed to test understanding.

Training Methodology
This is an interactive course. There will be open question and answer sessions, regular group exercises and activities, videos, case studies, and presentations on best practice. Participants will have the opportunity to share with the facilitator and other participants on what works well and not so well for them, as well as work on issues from their own organizations. The online course is conducted online using MS-Teams/ClickMeeting.
