Introduction
Throughout this course, sessions will provide opportunities for the trainees to get familiar with the fundamentals and practical aspects of natural gas processing, gas sweetening, and sulphur recovery. In particular, the course will focus on natural gas dehydration, sweetening, and removal of heavy metals and other impurities. Further, the course will acquaint the trainees intensely with the most recent technologies applied in the field of natural gas processing by delivering real-life case studies.
Objectives
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the principles of natural gas industry
- Select and implement most adequate techniques for gas treatment, dehydration and sweetening.
- Relate the gained knowledge in the area of natural gas utilization to real-life cases
- Exhibit apparent understanding of the importance and application of natural gas in petrochemical industry.
- Apply troubleshooting to technical difficulties encountered in the field of specialization
By the end of the training course, the participants should be able to:
Training Methodology
This is an interactive course. There will be open question and answer sessions, regular group exercises and activities, videos, case studies, and presentations on best practice. Participants will have the opportunity to share with the facilitator and other participants on what works well and not so well for them, as well as work on issues from their own organizations. The online course is conducted online using MS-Teams/ClickMeeting.
Who Should Attend?
Engineers of any discipline, managers, technician, technologists, and other technical personnel who are involved in the natural gas processes of treatment and conditioning along with safety management systems.
