Introduction
Fan and Blower systems find applications in most plants, residential and industries. Proper specifications and selection is the first requirement for more efficient machines. The different types of fans and blowers and their range of application, structure, and operation will be covered. Understanding the performance curves of the machine and its interaction with the duct system plays an important role for trouble-free operation and reduced machine downtime.
Objectives
- Learn to read and use correctly the fan performance curves
- Learn how to calculate the performance curves of fans and blowers
- Understand how different factors affect fan/blower performance
- Learn how to write the right specifications, and do the right fan selection
- Learn how to apply the related standards and specifications of fans
Training Methodology
The training methodology is interactive with group exercises and is suitable for all employees involved in functions management. The pace and level of the training workshop is customized to the understanding of the delegates. Ongoing back-up and support is available after the training on request to the supplier, and the training course is also available for in-house presentation as well as for “Competency Transfer”.
Who Should Attend?
Heads of Maintenance and Operation, Mechanical and Chemical Engineers, Equipment Specialists, Technical Engineers, Rotating Equipment Engineers, Vibration Monitoring Engineers, Planning Engineers, Lub
