Boiler Control and Instrumentation Training

Introduction

The course is designed to incorporate all issues related to the boiler starting with design aspects, installation, operation, and control of boiler application. Other issues are included within the course such as legal requirements and regulations, environmental and safety aspects, energy consumption, boiler efficiency and operating a treatment plant

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will have an understanding of the chemistry of boiler water treatment for scale, corrosion, and carryover control, with external and internal water treatment The participant will have a strong understanding of efficiency calculation, boiler inspection either destructive or non-destructive test. The principal will have also a strong understanding of all control loops of boiler operation

Training Methodology

This is an interactive course. There will be open question and answer sessions, regular group exercises and activities, videos, case studies, and presentations on best practice. Participants will have the opportunity to share with the facilitator and other participants on what works well and not so well for them, as well as work on issues from their own organizations. The online course is conducted online using MS-Teams/ClickMeeting.
