Introduction
This training will familiarize them with the hardware and software components of the Triconex ESD system. It will develop strong skills in process alarm troubleshooting and analysis of the control code.
- Enable you to work and meet rigorous professional and technical standards.
- Maintenance costs, providing safety and maximizing plant uptime.
Objectives
- Apply and gain an in-depth knowledge of TRICONEX-TRISTATION ESD System and safety systems.
- Discuss Tricon, principles of Tricon design, and system components.
- Analyze communication modules, filed termination panels, I/O bus, TRICONEX Tricon PLC function description, and triple modular redundant system (TMR).
- Describe Tribus functions, diagnostics procedure, and offline control application program emulation, direct communication to DCS, and open communication with external HMI.
- Illustrate TriStation 1131 software, standard programming, and developer.
- Discuss why the IEC 61131-3 was developed and determine the features of IEC 61131-3 PLC software standards and languages.
- Differentiate the difference between the textual languages and graphical languages including IL (instruction list), ST (structure text), LD (ladder diagram), FBD (function block diagram), and SFC (sequential flow charts).
- List project administration steps, install the TriStation 1131 software, and specify TriStation options, FBD, and LD editor options.
- Create user access, add the library from other projects and view standard reports
- Create first project, security options, TriStation and identify communication hardware definition and DB declaration.
- Write fiste program programming by function blocks, ladder, and matrix.
- Test and debug a logic program, build TriStation 1131 project, illustrate emulation and program loading of DLC, DLA, … etc
- Create and import advanced functions block.
- Install the Tricon and review safety instrumented functions, safety integrity level (SIL), and SIL determination.
- Troubleshoot and maintain ESD System and employ SIL verification and validation.
Upon the successful completion of this course, each participant will be able to:-
Training Methodology
This is an interactive course. There will be open question and answer sessions, regular group exercises and activities, videos, case studies, and presentations on best practice. Participants will have the opportunity to share with the facilitator and other participants on what works well and not so well for them, as well as work on issues from their own organizations. The online course is conducted online using MS-Teams/ClickMeeting.
Who Should Attend?
This course is intended for control and instrumentation engineers, supervisors and technicians as well as project, commissioning and process engineers and supervisors.
