Effective Expediting for Supply Chain Staff

Introduction

Five days of training course to assist improve the reliability and efficiency of supply deliveries. This course is ideal for personnel who as part of their job is responsible for the scheduling and coordination of materials deliveries from suppliers both internally as well as externally. The requirement of on-time delivery each and every time is critical to businesses. Late deliveries will have a considerable impact on the buying company’s performance. Expediting has a pivotal role in undertaking or coordinating a range of activities if the deliveries are to be on time. Effective Expediting is therefore directly linked to the overall success of the company’s complete supply process.

In this training course, the importance of Effective Expediting is emphasized and techniques are provided to monitor, control, and improve supplier on-time delivery. These include methods to apply pressure to suppliers to ensure they fulfill their obligations. Attendees will leave motivated and confident to positively manage delivery and other crucial aspects of supplier performance.

Training Methodology

This is an interactive course. There will be open question and answer sessions, regular group exercises and activities, videos, case studies, and presentations on best practices. Participants will have the opportunity to share with the facilitator and other participants on what works well and not so well for them, as well as work on issues from their own organizations. The online course is conducted online using MS-Teams/ClickMeeting.
