Introduction
Six Sigma is the comprehensive business improvement strategy made famous by organizations such as Motorola, General Electric, Honeywell and others, which has been used to generate significant improvements in business performance. For example, General Electric, one of the more successful companies implementing Six-Sigma, has estimated benefits of approximately $10Billion in the first 5 years. This program introduces participants to all of the core concepts underpinning the Six Sigma approximately
Objectives
- The objectives of this program are to provide participants with an awareness and working knowledge of the key elements of Six Sigma at least to the level of what is usually referred to as "Green Belt" training.
- This will be supplemented with additional knowledge, to enable participants to return to their organizations and be able to implement Six Sigma improvement projects in their areas, as well as contribute to the development of overall strategies for implementing Six Sigma across their organisations.
Training Methodology
The training methodology is interactive with group exercises and is suitable for all employees involved in process, maintenance and operations management. The pace and level of the training workshop is customized to the understanding of the delegates. Ongoing back-up and support is available after the training on request to the supplier, and the training course is also available for in-house presentation as well as for “Competency Transfer”.
